Khadifa Wong is a Film and Multi-Camera Director working both in the UK and internationally.

Her debut feature documentary, UPROOTED: THE JOURNEY OF JAZZ DANCE is currently streaming on HBO Max in the USA and available to buy or rent on Amazon/Apple/Sky and Rakuten in the UK. Produced by LDR Creative in Los Angeles, the film had its international Premiere at Raindance 2020 and has since picked up numerous awards including Best Documentary at the Pan African Film Festival, Micheaux Film Festival and Dance on Camera at Lincoln Centre. Khadifa herself was awarded the Alice Guy-Blaché Emerging Female Filmmaker Award in 2021 for her work on the film.

As a result of her work on Uprooted Khadifa was mentored by the Digital department at the NT and has since gone on to become a Screen Director for NT at Home and NT Live.

Her most recent project, Lüksün İzinde premiered on Netflix Türkiye and Netflix Mena in the spring of 2024 with more territories to be announced.

Khadifa is also developing several projects across both narrative and documentary, lectures in screendance at London Contemporary Dance School and is a volunteer Director with Media Trust.

Khadifa began her life in Theatre, after retiring as a dancer, Khadifa become a Jerwood Assistant Director at the Young Vic, and a Creative Associate with Jermyn Street Theatre. For Jermyn Street she was Assistant Director on 15 Heroines and directed readings for I'm Your Rope and Masque. As Director her credits include, How I Learned to Swim, La Gringa and Adventurous (Jermyn Street), Black Women Dating White Men (Drayton Arms Theatre) and Run to the Moon (Five Plays at the Young Vic).

Outside of her film work, Khadifa works in Costume (West End, TV and Film) and as a stills Photographer.
